But First, Mortgage Pre-Approval....
One of the first steps to starting your search is get pre-approved for a mortgage. Budget dictates everything. Mortgage applications take into account many factors, not just income. Sellers want offers from buyers that are already pre-approved for a mortgage, or they may not accept the offer.
This means you’ll need to find a lender or mortgage broker to get a complete pre-approval before we start actively looking at homes in person.
If you’ve never had a mortgage and are not sure where to start, I’m happy to introduce you to some mortgage brokers that I’ve worked with successfully in the past. Not yet approved? No problem! Your pre-approval can happen in tandem with starting your home search with me.
